Graduate Acquisition Surveyor Location Leamington Spa or Newcastle Job Description My client has an excellent entry-level opportunity for an Acquisition Surveyor to join their leading Telecoms company. Negotiating property rights on new/existing installations and negotiating down existing rents, the successful candidate will be target driven, forward thinking, self-motivated with a desire to learn. The position will be reporting to Project Management level. Duties Working with Senior Acquisition Surveyors, Principal Consultants and Town Planners to obtain thorough knowledge of the role. Progression of site instructions for clients from inception through to site completion. Acquiring rights for new Telecoms sites and temporary sites where appropriate, rent reviews and obtaining rights to upgrade/decommission existing sites as instructed by the client. Commencing applications for clients to Site Share on Third party tower and land. Attendance at site visits to identify suitable sites and prospective Landlords within search area; organising & conducting site visits when appropriate. Attendance at Multi Skilled Visits (MSV's); organising & conducting MSVs when appropriate skills have been obtained Negotiation and agreement of commercial terms with Site Provider (Option agreements and Heads of Terms); liaison with client and Third-Party Solicitors thereafter. Evaluation of existing property leases to ascertain clients' property rights and selection of appropriate course of action, ie Deed of Variation, Surrender and Re-grant Co-ordinating signing of wayleave documents between Service Provider and Site Provider Assisting with the management of internal/external resources in the delivery of design, acquisition, town planning and REC management where appropriate Co-ordination with internal/external resources to ensure site acquisition is within the timescale and parameters dictated by clients Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Maintenance of internal database and associated weekly/monthly client status reports.
